This kit comes with 4 flanges, 8 bolts, washers, and nuts. It is meant for the person looking to add a removable crossmember to their race car. These are primarily used for transmissions and meet SFI requirements for removable transmission crossmembers.
These flange and bolt kits are made for race cars but are tough enough for daily abuse on your street car. The flanges are 190” thick 4130 chromoly. The bolts are grade 8 flange head bolts with stainless washers and stainless nylocks. There are similar designs out there but our flanges have slightly more space between the tube and bolt holes allowing you to weld it properly with a little clearance around the bolt heads. Lastly, these flanges are .065” thicker than the industry standard of .125”.
