About Black Tie

Black Tie Race Fab LLC was established in May 2022 however, John Schirado, the founder has been a part of the racing industry for years. John grew up around cars, trucks, and dirt bikes but really developed a passion for horsepower when he began modifying his 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 towards the end of high school. That truck would later become the fastest diesel powered vehicle in Colorado. Before Black Tie Race Fab John worked alongside his father Kyle at Granby Truck Shop(GTS). GTS specialized in diesel service and repair but in more recent years did a lot of high performance work as well. With Kyle nearing retirement the decision was made for John to start Black Tie Race Fab and focus solely on high end fabrication and racing.

Black Tie Race Fab is a small family run business with a passion for racing and competition. Our outlook is simple. We use superior products combined with the dedication to produce superior results. We run the products we sell and we will never sell something we wouldn’t put on our own race cars. While John drag races Kaitlyn, his wife has a BMW that she competes in road racing with. We pride ourselves on providing our customers innovative products that work as good as they look. In addition to carrying the best products available we specialize in chromoly, aluminum, stainless, and titanium fabrication. We blueprint and build race engines, race car chassis, turbo kits, motorsports plumbing & wiring, and sheet metal work.
