In 4wd racing torque steer is extremely common. With our Dana 60 Rack and Pinion Mount this can be eliminated. While this is a labor intensive process, we have made it much easier by eliminating the guess work as to where the steering rack should be. This kit is designed to use a 2007-2013 2wd Dodge Ram steering rack(PN:SKP SK97387).
This kit is designed to be welded to your axle. The long piece to the axle tube and the smaller piece to the differential cover. The welded end of both pieces is designed to be at the top. The threaded hole is 5/8"-11
We also make the frame side trac bar brackets if you need those. With a rack and pinion the trac bar doesn't need to be mounted from the driver side frame rail. To give you more clearance we mount the trac bar from the passenger side frame rail. On the axle side you use one of the rack mounting bolts.
This kit is designed ONLY for NON-CAD Dana 60's and will not work on any other axle.
