In 4wd racing torque steer is extremely common. With our AAM Rack and Pinion Mount this can be eliminated. While this is a labor intensive process, we have made it much easier by eliminating the guess work as to where the steering rack should be. This kit is to use a 2007-2013 2wd Dodge Ram steering rack(PN:SKP SK97387)
We use these due to their light weight, durable design, and the angle of the steering shaft. They have a steeper angle than many others which makes fitting the steering around the frame rail and motor mount easier.
This kit is designed to be welded to your axle. The long piece to the axle tube and the smaller piece to the differential cover. The welded end of both pieces is designed to be at the top. The threaded hole is 5/8"-11
